Rick Nixon’s latest installation of sculptures draws on familiar forms of iconic power found in history, popular science and fiction imagery. Using variety of materials and abstracted forms the exhibition engages in a play between histories of power and politics, suggesting that our current ambition contrasts these icons in a trend of uncertainty and misbelief.
Rick Nixon is a Kitchener based artist. This is his first solo exhibition with Cambridge Galleries. Admission is free, everyone is welcome.
